Jason J. Hogg

Jason J. Hogg serves as Executive Chairman of CYPFER, guiding the company’s global growth, innovation, and leadership in cyber defense and response.

Jason has been a serial inventor and venturist over his thirty year career as both an entrepreneur and in C-Suite roles at Fortune 500 companies (e.g. Amex, Blackstone, Aon), as well as a Professor of Innovation and Technology at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management for over twelve years.  He is an inventor with over 700 issued patent claims and he has received innovator of the year awards across three different industries. In 2021, Jason was named a Top 100 Global Leader in Finance by Global Conference on Insurance & Finance (GCIF) for developing new fintech solutions that are changing how the tens of millions of cash and credit constrained consumers and retailers transact.  

Currently, Jason serves as Managing Partner of Matunuck Group, responsible for identifying and pursuing investment opportunities in financial technology, insurtech, cyber insurance and software investing. In addition to serving as the Executive Chairman of CYPFER, he is Lead Director of Global Holdings, a leading payment processing company, a member of the Board of Directors of Vzyr.AI, an AI -driven market intelligence and deal analysis platform, and a member of the Board of Directors of G8RTech, Inc., an applied sciences and protective equipment company.
