Robert Myhill

National Security Executive

Robert Myhill is a distinguished national security and technology leader with 20 years of service at the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), where he held several senior leadership roles, most recently serving as Deputy Chief Technology Officer. During his tenure, he played an important role in advancing technology strategy and operational capabilities across the intelligence community.

His previous roles included Deputy Comptroller, Deputy Director of Congressional Affairs, and the CIA’s representative to United States Cyber Command (CYBERCOM). 

Prior to joining the CIA, Robert served on the staff of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), where he contributed to major legislative initiatives, including work related to the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004. He was recognized as one of Federal Computer Week’s FED100 award recipients for his contributions to this effort. Earlier in his career, he spent three years with BearingPoint (KPMG), supporting several large technology implementation programs. 

Robert’s service has been recognized with numerous honors, including the CIA Director’s Award, the Distinguished Career Intelligence Medal, and the Director of National Intelligence Lifetime Achievement Award for legislative affairs. 

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree from The Catholic University of America and a master’s degree with distinction from the United States Naval War College. He is also a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and serves as a member of CYPFER’s Advisory Board.
