Chris Lombardozzi

Chris Lombardozzi serves as Vice President of Incident Response at CYPFER. A retired criminal investigator, his career spans more than 20 years across the public and private sectors, progressing from complex criminal and cyber investigations through digital forensics and incident response to cybersecurity leadership and executive advisory. He is a multi-program graduate of the U.S. Secret Service National Computer Forensics Institute (NCFI) and the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center’s Cyber Division (FLETC).

Prior to joining CYPFER, Chris served as Global Head of Strategic Advisory Services within Booz Allen’s Incident Response practice, following his role as Managing Director of Incident Response. He has led multidisciplinary teams across a portfolio of complex cyber engagements and has directed the response to some of the largest and most complex cyber incidents and data breaches, working alongside executive leadership and key stakeholders through critical moments.

Chris has advised organizations across critical infrastructure, aerospace, financial services, healthcare, maritime, government, energy, telecommunications, and other highly regulated and operationally sensitive environments. His experience allows him to bring together the technical, operational, legal, insurance, and executive perspectives required to navigate complex cyber events and drive organizations toward recovery.

A frequent lecturer and speaker, Chris has presented throughout the United States and internationally on cybersecurity strategy, cyber resilience, incident response, and security leadership. He has also provided specialized training to law enforcement professionals, cybersecurity and data privacy attorneys, cyber insurance professionals, and other stakeholders responsible for navigating complex cyber events.

At CYPFER, Chris will lead the continued advancement of the firm’s global Incident Response practice, strengthening how teams mobilize, investigate, contain, and recover from complex cyber incidents. He will work closely with CYPFER’s incident response leaders and multidisciplinary teams to further standardize execution, develop talent, and ensure clients receive decisive, coordinated support from the first moments of an incident through recovery.

His leadership is an important part of CYPFER’s continued global growth as the firm responds to increasingly sophisticated and complex cyber events.
