Azure and Entra ID are part of a complex ecosystem. Did Microsoft make it secure by default to protect you from attackers? This talk aims to answer that question. There are many misconceptions about Azure security settings and how open the platform is by default. The session includes technical demonstrations showing how certain attack vectors can be misused and how integrating AI into your tenant can expose secrets that may be abused. It also covers ways to bypass Microsoft’s security model to gather and access information. The good news is that for almost every problem, there is a mitigation. This talk covers both the offensive and defensive aspects of Azure and Entra ID to help better understand and improve your tenant’s security posture.
