CYPFER Appoints Legendary Inventor and Venturist Jason Hogg as Its Executive Chairman

Miami, FL – June 17, 2025 -CYPFER, a global leader in cybersecurity, has announced the appointment of Jason Hogg as Executive Chairman. As Global CEO of Aon’s Cyber Solutions, Hogg – who holds more than 700 issued patent claims in his name – invented the award-winning cyber risk analytics platform CyQu (Cyber Quotient). By providing a comprehensive analysis of an organization’s cyber risk, CyQu enables businesses to identify vulnerabilities, prioritize remediation efforts and enhance their overall security strategy.

For the past two years, Hogg and his applied sciences team have been actively designing, patenting and partnering to independently build an AI-based sequel to CyQu that will be a generational shift in cyber risk quantification and monitoring. The combination of CYPFER’s world class services, proprietary domain knowledge and this patent-pending platform will create an industry powerhouse that builds on CYPFER’s immense success to date.

Jason Hogg is a much-followed executive and mega-serial entrepreneur who brings decades of experience managing and growing companies of all stages. He recently served as Executive Vice President at lease-to-own fintech company Acima, where he is the sole inventor of the Acima Ecosystem. Previously, he was CEO of Blackstone’s B2R Finance, Global CEO of Aon’s Cyber Solutions and held executive positions at American Express and MBNA.

Hogg is famously noted for founding the groundbreaking fintech platform Revolution Money, which was Steve Case’s first outside investment. Revolution Money was acquired by American Express in 2010, and Hogg remained with Amex, where he launched and ran the Amex Serve and Walmart Bluebird platforms, as well as co-founded and managed American Express’s Joint Venture LianLian (2598.HK) from Hangzhou, China.

Hogg served for over twelve years as a senior lecturer of Innovation and Technology at Cornell
University’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management and was one of the founding faculty of Cornell Tech in New York City.
