Kevin Neslage

Kevin Neslage is General Counsel at CYPFER. He works at the intersection of law, insurance, and cybersecurity, advising on commercial contracts, incident response readiness, vendor and partner risk, and corporate governance, while remaining closely engaged with insurer relationships and business development efforts.

Drawing on prior experience as coverage counsel and a cyber insurance claims professional, Kevin brings a practical, business-focused approach to legal risk. He has managed complex breach matters across North America and Latin America and regularly works with insurers, brokers, breach counsel, and technical teams to help organizations navigate fast-moving incidents with clarity and confidence. His focus is on enabling the business to move quickly while maintaining disciplined risk management and regulatory awareness.

Kevin holds industry certifications including CIPP/US, CIPP/C, CCIS, and AIGP, reflecting a commitment to staying current on privacy law, cyber insurance, and emerging technology risks.

In addition to his role at CYPFER, Kevin is active in industry education and professional development. He serves as Chair of the Planning Subcommittee for the Florida Bar Cybersecurity and Privacy Law Committee, where he helps develop programming and resources aimed at strengthening cybersecurity and privacy competence among legal professionals. He frequently speaks at conferences and participates in webinars focused on cyber risk, insurance strategy, and incident response.
