Carter J. Hogg

Carter J. Hogg is the Chief Science & Technology Officer (CSTO) at CYPFER. An inventor, entrepreneur, and technology leader with a background in economics and mathematics from Johns Hopkins University, Carter drives CYPFER’s global technology strategy, overseeing software engineering, data science, IT security leadership, and advanced research and development.

At the forefront of CYPFER’s innovation strategy, Carter has led the development of CYRFACE, an AI-powered cyber risk intelligence platform designed to assess current cyber exposure, predict evolving threats, and deliver targeted remediation recommendations. He has been instrumental in architecting its proprietary mathematical models, machine learning capabilities, and patented risk quantification technology. CYRFACE was selected as one of just seven companies in the Databricks AI Accelerator.

Carter is also the Founder and Chairman of G8RTech, an applied sciences company where he led the invention and commercialization of G8RSkin, a proprietary head and neck device designed to reduce the risk of concussions and cervical spine injuries. Within its first year, the technology reached more than 300 schools and 2,500 athletes. His portfolio of patented innovations spans AI-driven cybersecurity, advanced engineering, and sports safety technology.
